Animal Hospital of Willow Street in Willow Street, PA, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a close-knit two-doctor practice. You’ll work across wellness, dentistry, and surgery while benefiting from mentorship and a collaborative team focused on high-quality medicine and client relationships.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the appropriate state.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD credentials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds (assistance for heavier lifting).

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose diseases or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide counseling around end-of-life care.
• Maintain patients' medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and applicable policies.

Education
