Animal Hospital at Willow Street is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a close-knit two-doctor practice in Willow Street, PA. You will work across a diverse caseload with mentorship from experienced doctors who enjoy teaching and guiding new graduates.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Appropriate state licensure.
• Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds; assist with heavier lifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine disease or injury.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples; interpret results.
• Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide counseling on end-of-life care.
• Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary ethics.
