Molalla River Veterinary Center, a growing private small-animal practice in Molalla, Oregon, seeks an associate veterinarian who thrives on case discussion and flexible practice style. We welcome doctors to bring their own interests—surgery, dentistry, ultrasound, behavior, rehab or others—within a supportive, integrative framework.

Open to a 3-4 day workweek with no weekends, emphasizing low-stress handling, thorough client communication, and quality of life for both patients and doctors.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Current Oregon veterinary license, or ability to obtain Oregon licensure.
• DEA registration, or ability to obtain as required for the position.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care and low-stress handling.
• Comfortable practicing collaboratively within a spectrum-of-care model.
• Open-minded and interested in an integrative, individualized approach to medicine.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of small-animal clinical practice, with reasonable accommodations as appropriate.
• Commitment to continued learning and professional growth.
• General practice experience is preferred but not required. Experience or interest in surgery, dentistry, pain management, rehabilitation, nutrition, ultrasound, or other areas is welcomed.
