Excelsior Springs Animal ClinicinExcelsior Springs, Missouriis seeking anAssociate Veterinarianto join our amazing team!All Experience Levelsare welcome to apply!Our clinic would provide anexcellent environment for candidates interested in expanding their soft tissue surgery skills or interest in exotics!

Excelsior Springs Animal Clinicis a full-service small animal general practiceoffering the best in medical and surgical care. We treat dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, avians, small ruminants, and wildlife. We just finished acomplete remodelin 2021 and ourhospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and cold laser therapy. Furthermore, we utilize the services of a traveling radiology technician to perform abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms once a week.We are paperless, using AVImark for our electronic medical records.Most importantly, we have phenomenal, experienced support staff,with 3-4 technicians and assistants per doctor!

Our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry in our two surgery suites and dentistry area. Each patient undergoing anesthesia is required to have pre-op lab work, an IV catheter, and IV fluids. Our medical director, is very experienced in most soft tissue procedures and would help any candidates interested in surgery to gain more confidence and expand their surgical skills. For orthopedic surgeries, we use a mobile board-certified surgeon or refer to one of the nearby specialty centers.

Our team enjoys spending time together outside of work, too. We have BBQs, take advantage of our cute historic downtown, and enjoy time together outside of a work environment.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with an interest in exotics, avians, and wildlife to continue offering this service, however, we will happily consider candidates interested in working exclusively with dogs and cats. The schedule is flexible, offering a 3 to 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays. We truly believe in work/life balance and will do our best to accommodate your desired schedule! There are no on-call responsibilities since we have several referral/emergency locations nearby.
