A trusted AAHA-accredited partner hospital in Islamorada, FL, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative and compassionate team. Nestled in the heart of the Florida Keys between Key Largo and Marathon, this is a rare opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a world-class location.

The hospital is fully equipped with digital full-body and dental radiology, ultrasound, surgical laser, and cold/therapy laser, supporting your ability to deliver modern, comprehensive care to every patient.

???? Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical exams, diagnostic testing, surgical procedures, and treatment planning

  • Educate clients on treatment options, preventative care, and post-operative care

  • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff in a team-based setting

  • Mentor and support staff through the LevelUp training program

  • Manage a diverse caseload, ranging from routine visits to advanced surgical procedures

Qualifications:
  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or completion of the ECFVG/PAVE program)

  • Licensed or eligible to practice veterinary medicine in Florida

  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills

  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset

  • A desire to grow professionally and contribute positively to the clinic and community
