Full time Associate Veterinarian (DVM) - Now Hiring + Sign-On Bonus - Gastonia, NC

A modern, progressive partner hospital in Gastonia, NC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their close-knit team. This practice is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art veterinary care, including cold/therapy laser, ultrasound, and digital x-rays, all within a Fear-Free environment. The team is passionate about making a positive impact on both patients and the local community, offering a strong culture of collaboration, education, and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including surgeries, diagnostics, and routine care
  • Engage with clients and staff in a relationship-based approach to veterinary care
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to provide the highest quality care
  • Build strong relationships with clients and the local Gastonia/Charlotte community
  • Participate in internal training programs to encourage staff development
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including surgeries, appointments, and diagnostics during open hours

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
  • Active license in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina (or ability to obtain licensure)
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting, comfortable with a range of veterinary tasks including surgery, diagnostics, and patient care
  • A collaborative and compassionate team player, eager to contribute to a positive work environment
