We are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian at our community-focused Veterinary Clinics.

The ideal candidate understands that their role as the Associate Veterinarian plays a vital part in supporting the community, especially for those clients and animals who may not have another accessible option for care.

Our hospital offers financial assistance to clients in need as well as partners with outside funding groups to decrease as much of the financial burden as possible.

This Associate Veterinarian is responsible for providing care, treatment, and surgical services for client-owned and shelter animals between our two locations. You will spend 70-100% of your time in the Oakland AAHA full-service veterinary clinic seeing appointments and performing surgeries, and up to 30% of your time at shelters in Dublin and Oakland. These are high-quality/high-volume spay/neuter clinics.

As a part of a multi-doctor team, this position works closely with the VP of Medical Services, fellow associate veterinarians, and the medical support team in an effort to support our mission.

You must be willing to travel between our clinics.

Compensation is $130K – $170K based on experience, plus up to $20k in annual bonuses!

The incoming veterinarian will enjoy 4-day work weeks (10-hour days), with no weekends, no evenings, no emergencies, no on-calls, and no overnights! We fully respect our staff’s time and encourage a healthy work/life balance.
