Job summary

Westside Veterinary Hospital in Kingston, PA is seeking Associate Veterinarians to join a growing doctor team. You’ll provide comprehensive care from wellness visits to complex medical cases, with in-house diagnostics and mentorship in surgery, dentistry, and pocket pet medicine.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited veterinary college.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania (or eligibility).
• Proficiency in small animal general practice medicine and dentistry.
• Ability to interpret in-house diagnostics and radiographs for treatment decisions.
• Ability to triage and manage urgent/sick appointments in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses using on-site diagnostics.
• Perform soft tissue surgery and dental procedures, including radiology.
• Spay/neuter and mass removals; advanced surgeries with mentorship.
• Manage chronic disease and internal medicine cases with lifelong care plans.
• Triage daytime urgent and same-day sick appointments.
• Communicate diagnoses, options, and preventive care to clients.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to standards.
