Job summary

PetVet Care Centers seeks an Associate Veterinarian for Gentle Doctor Animal Hospital in O’Fallon, MO. You will join a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and build lasting client relationships.

We offer a 4-day work week, a base salary range of $120,000–$150,000, production bonuses, and relocation/signing packages. Our culture emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and clinician autonomy within a national network.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited college/university.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice.
• Excellent diagnostic, surgical and dental skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and provide education.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Prescribe medications and adhere to controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge.
• Participate in practice management updates and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
