Job summary

PetVet Care Centers is seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian for the New Ulm Regional Veterinary Center to join a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. You will work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Director to provide high-quality care and build lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (VMD) degree from an accredited college/university
• Current State Veterinary License in good standing
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary practice

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups
• Communicate with clients and educate about care
• Perform diagnostics, surgery, and other procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Pharmacy duties including prescribing medications and controlled substance protocols
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities
• Monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge
• Attend daily rounds when possible to uphold high standards
• Support practice management updates and training
