Qualifications

State licensure in the appropriate jurisdiction.
Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift patients up to 25 pounds; assist with heavier lifts.

Responsibilities

Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose disease or injuries.
Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples; interpret results.
Advise owners on preventative care and treatment options.
Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
Provide counsel on pet end-of-life care.
Maintain medical records for patients.
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and applicable laws.

Requirements/Qualifications
