The role features a 4-day work week, no on-call or after-hours responsibilities, and a collaborative team focused on quality medicine and work-life balance. The hospital provides on-site diagnostics, a full-service facility, and mentorship with clinical autonomy.

Qualifications

• License to practice veterinary medicine in Missouri (or ability to obtain)
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary practice
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills; excellent communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, and medical work-ups
• Perform general surgery and dentistry with support from on-site diagnostics and nursing teams
• Utilize digital radiography, in-house lab, and on-site pharmacy to guide timely treatment plans
• Manage and monitor hospitalized cases; participate in daily rounds when appropriate
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to controlled-substance protocols
• Communicate clearly with clients to ensure understanding and follow-through
• Collaborate with technicians, assistants, and hospital leadership to optimize workflows
• Schedule highlights: 4-day work week, no on-call or after-hours, Sundays closed
• Clinical autonomy with mentorship available for growth
