Job summary

The Wildlife Society in Folsom, CA is seeking an associate veterinarian to join a busy 7-doctor small animal practice. You will perform routine surgeries, manage medical cases, and maintain excellent client communication in a team-focused setting.

We offer a 4-day week totaling 32 hours with a base salary starting at $125,000, potentially rising to $180,000 with 20% production. California license and veterinary credentialing are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a California veterinary license in good standing.
• 2–3 years of small animal clinical experience; new graduates considered if confident.
• Excellent medical and surgical skills with client communication.
• Able to perform routine surgery and dental procedures.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment; willing to learn advanced techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine surgery and dental procedures.
• Provide medical management of cases with strong client communication.
• Collaborate with RVTs, CSR's, and assistants.
• Participate in in-house diagnostics and treatments.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and customer service.
