Job summary

Tempus Recruitment represents a privately owned small animal hospital in North Carolina seeking an Associate Veterinarian. The practice treats cats and dogs and is open to expanding to additional species, with a rotating schedule that averages 3.5 working days per week and built‑in long weekends.

The role includes medical case work, surgeries, dentistry, and diagnostics using ultrasound, in‑house lab, digital radiography, and Class IV laser therapy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in veterinary practice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Comfort with a varied caseload and multiple procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work up medical cases and perform surgeries.
• Carry out dentistry and use diagnostics to support patient care.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication and education.
• Manage 15–25 cases per day in a fast-paced environment.
