We are working on behalf of a long established, full-service small animal hospital in Richmond, VA that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its experienced, collaborative team. With more than 30 years serving the local community, this practice pairs advanced medical capabilities with the warmth and feel of a true community hospital. The caseload is varied and genuinely interesting, covering preventive care, internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry, chemotherapy, geriatric medicine, and pain management, with pet pigs and backyard chickens seen alongside dogs and cats. Doctors are supported by digital radiography, ultrasound, EKG, a CO2 laser, an in-house laboratory, and an in-house pharmacy, so you can work up cases thoroughly and with confidence. The doctor team works collaboratively, consulting on cases, sharing ideas, and learning from one another every day.
