Job description

We are working on behalf of a friendly, 3-doctor small animal hospital in Locust Grove, VA, that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its close-knit team.

This practice is built around sustainable medicine. The hospital is open Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, with no weekends and no after-hours calls. Urgent cases are seen during business hours and emergencies are referred out, so your evenings and weekends stay your own. Full-time and part-time schedules are both on the table, and the team will work with you to build a schedule that fits your life. The hospital is paperless and well equipped, with digital dental radiography, a brand-new DR radiology system, GE ultrasound, and advanced anesthesia monitoring, supporting comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care.

The doctors work closely together and genuinely look out for one another, with regular in-house DVM rounds, VIN membership, and strong CE support. Whether you are an experienced DVM ready to make your mark or a newer graduate looking for real mentorship, you will be well supported here. Compensation includes a $160,000 base plus production, with total earning potential of up to $250,000, along with a sign-on bonus of up to $60,000. For the right person, there is also scope to talk about longer term growth, including the possibility of partnership down the line.
