Atlas Consultancy Group Ltd in Castro Valley, CA is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a two-doctor team at an AAHA-accredited small animal and exotics hospital. The schedule is Monday to Friday with no weekends, and the caseload includes wellness, dentistry, surgery, in-house diagnostics, imaging, ultrasound, and same-day urgent care.

Associate Veterinarian role in Castro Valley, CA. No weekends, a growing exotics caseload (only if you want it!), and up to $200k base.

We are working on behalf of a well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal and exotics hospital in Castro Valley, CA that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team. The practice has been part of the local community for many years and has built a loyal, community-driven client base, backed by more than 400 five-star reviews.

You would be joining two experienced veterinarians and a friendly, close-knit support team who genuinely see themselves as a work family, built on respect and a shared commitment to the pets and people they serve. The caseload is rooted in general practice, covering wellness and preventive care, vaccinations, dentistry, surgery, in-house diagnostics, imaging and ultrasound, and same-day urgent care appointments.

Demand for exotic pet care is growing, and the team shares a real passion for exotics, especially reptiles. That makes this a great fit for a veterinarian who already enjoys exotics, or who would like to build that side of their caseload with a team that is excited about it. The hospital runs Monday to Friday and is closed on weekends, so you get a schedule that supports a life outside of work without compromising on the quality of medicine.

About You

• DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
• You hold, or are eligible for, licensure in California
• Confident across general practice medicine, surgery, and dentistry
• Experience with, or a real interest in, exotics (especially reptiles) is a big plus
• Strong communicator with a warm, client-focused approach
• Team-minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a busy general practice environment
