Veterinary Care of Ithaca (VCI) invites an Associate Veterinarian to join our thriving, independent practice in Ithaca, NY. We emphasize high-level medicine balanced with a healthy personal life and a welcoming, sophisticated clientele.

We seek a collaborative, emotionally mature DVM who thrives in a team-centric setting but can work independently, with a focus on preventive and diagnostic medicine and a commitment to client communication and clinical excellence.

Formación

• NYS license in good standing.
• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited school.
• Fear Free certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Provide preventive and diagnostic veterinary care for a diverse client base.
• Perform surgeries (spays/neuters, mass removals) and dentistry as needed.
• Communicate clearly with clients and work within an independent yet collaborative team.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety with Fear Free practices.

• Clinical Interests: While proficiency in surgery and dentistry (spays, neuters, mass removals) is a plus, we prioritize the right cultural fit and a passion for patient care.
• Requirements: NYS License in good standing; DVM/VMD; 1+ years of experience preferred; Fear Free certification (or willingness to obtain).
