Associate Veterinarian

Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital, a successful and beautiful small animal practice, is looking for a full‑time Veterinarian to join general practice.

Our hospital is an established small animal practice located in beautiful Thousand Oaks, California. We seek a hard‑working, team‑player veterinarian to join our team. There is leadership potential for those interested. Located in Ventura County, Thousand Oaks is a great recreation and family area near Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, one of the most beautiful cities in the country with excellent schools, outdoor activities, and a short drive to the beach.

Schedule

We are currently open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. No after‑hours emergencies or on‑call requirements. Full‑time is defined as any regularly over 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will help grow the practice by providing excellent preventative care, performing routine surgery and dentistry, recommending appropriate and detailed case workups, and delivering thorough client communication and community outreach.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board license in good standing in the state where hired, prior to start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility.

Compensation
