Job description

We are working on behalf of a modern, well-equipped small animal general practice in San Rafael, CA, that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team.

Set just north of San Francisco, the hospital runs out of a spacious 4,000 sq ft facility with three exam rooms and the full toolkit you would expect from a busy GP: in-house bloodwork and urinalysis, digital radiology, ultrasound, and dentistry with digital dental radiology. The caseload is a healthy mix of preventive wellness care and soft tissue surgery, including spays and neuters, mass removals, laceration repairs, cystotomies, gastropexies, and enucleations. At around 14 to 15 patients per doctor per day, the pace gives you room to practice thorough medicine and build real relationships with your clients.

You will have full medical autonomy, supported by skilled technicians and assistants, dedicated CSRs, and a visible, involved leadership team. Compensation is strong, with a base salary of $180,000 to $200,000 depending on experience, plus a production bonus with no negative accrual and an annual long-term incentive cash program. Qualified candidates may receive a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance of up to $75,000 (DOE).
