Atlas Consultancy Group is partnering with a growing Panama City Beach small animal practice to hire a clinical DVM licensed in Florida. The incoming associate will join a solo-doctor hospital supported by a skilled technician team, with a modern facility, salary-based pay or ProSal, and a Monday–Friday 8:00–5:30 schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call.
Candidates should be proficient in routine spay/neuter, dental cleanings, and soft tissue surgery; orthopedics welcome but not required.
We are working on behalf of a growing, well-equipped small animal general practice in Panama City Beach, FL, a fast-growing coastal community with strong ongoing population growth. Open for about a year and a half, the hospital is compact but efficiently laid out, with four exam rooms, a dedicated treatment area, a standalone surgery suite, digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house bloodwork and cytology, and a fully plumbed facility with central oxygen.
This is currently a solo-doctor practice supported by a strong technician team who are comfortable placing IV catheters, monitoring anesthesia, assisting in surgery, and performing dental cleanings, freeing the incoming doctor to focus on medicine and surgery.
The caseload is a mix of wellness, same-day sick visits, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery including spays, neuters, and mass removals. Orthopedics is not currently offered and would be a welcome addition for the right candidate, though it is not required.
The clientele is genuinely mixed, so the ideal doctor is comfortable reading the room and tailoring diagnostic and treatment plans to what each client can realistically afford, without compromising on good medicine.
The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:30, with no nights, weekends, or on-call, plus a protected lunch hour. Target caseload for the incoming associate is 20 to 25 patients a day including 1 to 2 surgeries.
The team is close-knit, social, and known for a laid-back but efficient culture, with regular team outings and very few client relationship issues to date.
New graduates and experienced vets are both welcome to apply, though 1 to 2 years of experience is preferred. Compensation is a straight salary for new grads, or ProSal with no negative accrual for more experienced doctors.
