Job summary

VCA Ocean View Animal Hospital in California seeks an Associate Veterinarian to join a team supported by world‑class medicine, technology and facilities. You’ll be empowered to do your best work with colleagues you can count on while delivering compassionate care to pets.

We offer mentorship for students and new graduates, a schedule of Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, no weekend shifts. Full-time preferred but open to part-time, with competitive compensation and sign-on/relocation bonuses.

Qualifications

• DVM from an accredited university.
• California licensure in good standing or ability to obtain.

Schedule

• Hospital hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm

• Closed Saturday and Sunday

• Full-time preferred, but open to part-time

• No weekend shifts

Compensation

• Salary is negotiable based on experience. The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 - $180K.

• Sign-on/relocation/longevity bonuses available

• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent

• Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain

• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
