Job summary

VCA Los Banos Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a team that emphasizes world-class medicine, advanced technology, and a collaborative culture. You will contribute across the spectrum of care, from wellness visits to complex medical cases and surgery, with mentorship available for new graduates.

The position offers full-time, with potential for part-time; hours are Monday–Friday, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain one.
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, from wellness to advanced medical cases and surgery.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team and mentor junior staff.

Schedule

• Current hospital hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Full-time preferred, However we are open to part-time
• Rotating weekends

Compensation

• Salary is negotiable based on experience. The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 - $180K.
• Sign-on/relocation/longevity bonuses available
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
