Job description

North Haven Animal Hospital has been providing exceptional veterinary care in the greater North Haven, Connecticut region since 1979. Our partner hospital will treat cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, and even some species of birds! North Haven provides routine soft tissue surgeries, ultrasonography, wellness visits, full body x-rays, dentistry, and more.

Job Description
  • Develop a relationship with our clients and partner with them to deliver the highest quality patient care possible.
  • Treat each pet individually to minimize stress, anxiety or discomfort.
  • Stay up-to-date with innovative and emerging veterinary medications, procedures, treatments, protocols and equipment.
  • Collaborate and function as a team within the hospital.
  • Help to continue developing the support team.
  • Treat every client like family and each patient like theirown pet.
Qualifications
  • Full Time OR Part Time Veterinarian
  • Compassionate, Team Player and Strong Communicator
  • Proficient in general medicine and surgery
  • Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an AVMA accredited university
  • Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
  • Active Veterinary State License
  • USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
