Our privately owned practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive veterinary care ranging from newborns to geriatric patients. With a commitment to excellence, our multi-doctor practice boasts highly experienced and well-trained support and administrative staff, ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients.

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in small animal and exotic medicine and surgery, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge alongside a supportive team. We are open Monday thru Friday with no on-call, no-ER, no weekends!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care to small animal and exotic patients
  • Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and medical treatments
  • Perform surgical procedures as needed
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and guidance on pet care and treatment options
  • Collaborate with other veterinarians and staff to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols

Requirements:

  • DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New York
  • Strong interest in small animal and exotic medicine and surgery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients and clients
