Animal General is looking for a part-time Veterinarian to join our team in New York, New York.

Our progressive compensation model includes competitive base salaries with production compensation opportunities-plus, no negative accrual.

You're willing and able to collaborate with a supportive, high-performing team while delivering exceptional medical care and building trusted relationships with clients. You enjoy practicing evidence-based medicine, communicating effectively, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented culture.

The ideal candidate is looking for a part-time position and is proficient in dentistry and routine surgery.

Our experienced veterinary team provides wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment tailored to each patient's needs, helping pets and families throughout New York City enjoy long, healthy lives together.

We are open Monday 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Tuesday–Wednesday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Thursday 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and Friday–Saturday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., proudly serving Manhattan's Upper West Side.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL part-time range starting at $100,000/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
  • Proficient surgical and dental skills necessary
