Grays Harbor Veterinary Services in Montesano, WA, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a close-knit team that values relationships with families and their pets. The role offers opportunities across preventive care, medicine, surgery, and dentistry in a small-town practice.
You’ll collaborate with a supportive group of doctors, engage with clients, and contribute to a community-focused veterinary home where curiosity and adaptability are valued.
Grays Harbor Veterinary Services is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who wants to become part of a practice - and a community - where relationships matter.
Located in Montesano, WA, we serve a small, close-knit community with a wide variety of veterinary needs. That means our doctors practice truly well-rounded veterinary medicine: getting to know families and their pets over time, managing everything from preventive care and everyday medicine to complex cases and procedures, and becoming a trusted veterinary resource for the community.
If you're a veterinarian who enjoys variety, values meaningful client relationships, and likes the idea of practicing medicine where your work can make a visible difference, Grays Harbor could be an exceptional place to build your career.
There is something different about practicing veterinary medicine in a smaller community.
Our clients rely on us for a broad range of care, and our veterinarians follow patients throughout their lives rather than focusing on just one narrow area of medicine. One appointment may be a new puppy visit, the next a challenging medical workup, and the next a surgical or dental case.
It's an environment that rewards curiosity, adaptability, strong clinical judgment, and great communication.
Our team provides comprehensive small animal veterinary care and sees some avian and exotic patients as part of the diverse needs of our community. You don't need an exotics background or interest to thrive here. What matters most is that you enjoy being a well-rounded veterinarian and want to contribute to a collaborative community practice.
Our experienced veterinary team brings interests across preventive medicine, surgery, dermatology, diagnostic ultrasound, avian medicine, and more, creating plenty of opportunities to collaborate and learn from one another.
Our full-service veterinary hospital provides a wide range of medical, diagnostic, surgical, and preventive services, including:
The breadth of our caseload gives veterinarians the opportunity to continue developing as clinicians while pursuing the areas of medicine they enjoy most.
We'd especially like to meet veterinarians interested in:
You don't need to love every area of veterinary medicine. We're interested in what you enjoy, where you're strongest, and where you'd like to continue growing.
As an Associate Veterinarian at Grays Harbor Veterinary Services, you'll have the opportunity to:
Experienced veterinarians and early-career DVMs are encouraged to apply.
Montesano offers something increasingly unique: the opportunity to live and practice in a genuine small-town community while still having access to the natural beauty and recreation that make Western Washington such a desirable place to live.
For the right veterinarian, the appeal isn't simply where Montesano is located. It's the opportunity to become part of the community.
You'll see clients around town. You'll care for multiple generations of their pets. You'll build relationships with families who know your name and value having a veterinarian they trust. And you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community where a great veterinarian really matters.
If you're searching for an Associate Veterinarian opportunity in Washington where you can practice broad, interesting medicine while building genuine relationships with your clients and community, we'd love to meet you.
Bring your clinical interests, curiosity, and love of veterinary medicine to Grays Harbor Veterinary Services and become part of a team that's proud to care for the pets and people of Montesano and the surrounding Grays Harbor community.
