Job summary

Job description

A well-established small animal hospital in Memphis, TN is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its close-knit, community-focused team.

This is a gorgeous, stand-alone, general practice hospital with deep roots in the local Memphis community, operating Monday through Friday with no weekend requirements.

Led by an experienced Medical Director, the practice delivers a wide variety of cases spanning wellness exams, vaccinations, puppy and kitten care, senior care, spay and neuter procedures, mass removals, microchip implantation, and a broad range of general practice services. The hospital is supported by a strong in-house diagnostics and laboratory setup, giving you the tools you need to practice confident, high-quality medicine every day.

The team here shares a genuine love of animals and veterinary science, and a collaborative approach to medicine is at the heart of everything they do. A structured mentorship program is in place for newer veterinarians, and the culture is one where communication and teamwork are truly valued. About You:
  • DVM or VMD degree, or equivalent, that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
  • Hold or be eligible for a Veterinary State License in Tennessee prior to your start date
