Associate Veterinarian for Rehabilitation Clinic

Are you a veterinarian practicing in the field of animal rehabilitation in search of an opportunity to join a well established, successful and friendly practice? Does the opportunity to build relationships with your pet patients and pet parents while you work to relieve chronic pain and oversee the recovery and restorative process through the practice of veterinary rehabilitation and integrative medicine appeal to you? PAW REHAB Pacific Animal Wellness Rehabilitation Center in Sherman Oaks, CA within the Los Angeles San Fernando Valley, is adding an Associate DVM to our busy and thriving veterinary rehabilitation practice! This opportunity is open to candidates who have graduated from an accredited veterinary college and qualify for or already possess licensure in the state of California. Candidates with the following knowledge, skills and abilities are encouraged to apply!

Qualifications

To assist us in taking excellent care of our patients, you should have the following education, experience, and qualities:

• Graduation from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Program.
• License to practice Veterinary Medicine in the state of California and eligible to work in the United States.
• An interest in practicing integrated & rehabilitative medicine, and bringing a personal specialty to our patients is encouraged.
• Be knowledgeable and certified/qualified in the practice of veterinary medicine, animal rehabilitation and acupuncture.
• A positive, friendly demeanor is a must! The team will look to you for leadership and you will be depended upon to help uphold our professional standards and integrity as well as support and participate in our positive practice culture.
• Encourage diagnostic and high-quality treatment plans for patients and embolden follow-through by clients.
• A team oriented mind-set with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
• Continued interest in your professional growth, the growth and success of the practice.
• An educational approach to client communication. The more our clients know - the better care they can take of their pets!
• This position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

A competitive compensation package will be designed to reflect your qualifications and the number of days/hours you are available to work.

We offer a full time associate salary range starting at $130, 000-160,000 depending on experience, certifications and schedule commitment. Part-time employment may also be considered at a prorated salary.

We are open to Full-Time (30 plus hrs/week) and Part-Time Candidates! Our clinic is open during the following hours of operation:

Saturday - opening soon

Schedule Options available with 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts between Monday - Saturday: 7:30am - 7:00pm

We prioritize work-life balance with the option of flexible schedules, including 3- or 4-day work weeks for full time associates!
