Associate Veterinarian

As an Associate Veterinarian, you will work closely with our experienced team of veterinarians and support staff to provide a wide range of medical services, including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. Key responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough physical examinations and develop treatment plans for patients

- Perform surgeries, including spays, neuters, and other soft tissue procedures

- Diagnose and treat medical conditions, including prescribing medications and performing diagnostic tests

- Educate clients on preventive care and provide recommendations for their pets' health

- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and support staff

- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to all legal requirements

- Continuously stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and technology

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited university or equivalent

- Active veterinary license in the state of Colorado

- 1-3 years of experience in a veterinary clinic required

- Strong surgical skills and experience with dentistry is a plus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment
