Job description

Associate Veterinarian

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our team! We are looking for a veterinarian who shares our values and is committed to providing excellent medical care for our furry patients.

As an Associate Veterinarian, you will work closely with our experienced team of veterinarians and support staff to provide a wide range of medical services, including wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our clients and their pets, and play a vital role in their overall health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough physical examinations and develop treatment plans for patients.
  2. Perform surgeries, including spays, neuters, and other soft tissue procedures.
  3. Diagnose and treat medical conditions, including prescribing medications and performing diagnostic tests.
  4. Educate clients on preventive care and provide recommendations for their pets' health.
  5. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and support staff.
  6. Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to all legal requirements.
  7. Continuously stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and technology.
Qualifications:
  1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
  2. Active veterinary license in the state of Colorado.
  3. 1-3 years of experience in a veterinary clinic required.
  4. Strong surgical skills and experience with dentistry is a plus.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work well in a team environment.
  7. Passion for providing compassionate care to animals and their owners.
