Job description

Locust Valley Veterinary Clinic is a full-service animal hospital located in Locust Valley, New York, serving pets from Locust Valley and nearby towns on Long Island. We are conveniently situated just 12 miles from West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center in Huntington, which provides 24/7 emergency and specialty veterinary care.

Our team practices compassionate care for dogs and cats in a warm, family-friendly environment. Our services include pet wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, advanced diagnostics, and surgical procedures.

Minimum Requirements

1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited university, or equivalent.
2. Active veterinarian license or license-eligible to practice in New York State.
3. Experience in companion animal wellness, preventive care, general surgery, and/or dentistry.
4. Commitment to high standards of medicine and veterinary ethics.
5. Passion for collaboration and improving patient outcomes to contribute to clinic success.

Compensation

Salary is negotiable based on experience, with an annual base salary range of $130,000 - $180,000 plus a percentage of production. Additional incentives such as sign-on bonuses may be available.
