Batesburg-Leesville Animal Hospital in South Carolina is seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to provide high-quality medical care for companion animals in a supportive, community-focused practice.

You'll perform exams, vaccines, diagnostics, routine surgeries, and client education while collaborating with a compassionate team to deliver outstanding patient care and maintain strong client relationships. New grads welcome.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in South Carolina.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, team-oriented mindset.
• Interest in small animal medicine and surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment plans for companion animals.
• Provide preventive and wellness care, including vaccinations and client education.
• Diagnose and manage medical conditions and illnesses.
• Perform routine surgical procedures.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic imaging results.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding treatment options and care plans.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver excellent patient care.
