Location Columbia, United States Sector Other Salary $110,000.00 to $150,000.00 per annum
Are you looking to join a long-established, privately owned practice where you'll be genuinely supported by experienced veterinarians, enjoy clinical freedom, and have the opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative environment?
We're working exclusively with a thriving two-hospital small animal practice in South Carolina that is looking to welcome another Associate Veterinarian as they continue to grow following the recent expansion of one of their locations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team where the owners remain hands-on clinicians, mentorship is a genuine priority, and patient care always comes first.
You’ll be joining a multi-doctor team working from spacious, modern facilities equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, a surgical suite with two operating tables, endoscopy, multiple consultation rooms and dedicated treatment areas. The practice primarily sees dogs and cats, with the opportunity to work with occasional exotics should that be an area of interest. Appointment times are scheduled for 30 minutes, allowing you the time needed to build relationships with clients while delivering a high standard of medicine.
Support is one of the practice’s biggest strengths. The goal is to provide every veterinarian with two support team members throughout the day, including experienced technicians and veterinary assistants who are encouraged to work to the top of their abilities. Whether you’re an experienced veterinarian looking for a collaborative team or a recent graduate seeking structured mentorship, you’ll be surrounded by doctors who genuinely enjoy teaching, discussing cases and helping each other succeed.
The practice offers an excellent work-life balance with flexible scheduling options, no emergency on-call requirements, and only brief weekend rotations caring for hospitalized and boarding patients. Surgery is welcomed but not essential, with mentorship available for those looking to build confidence in the operating room.
