We are seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our amazing team!

About Us:

Orion Animal Care Center is a full-service veterinary hospital located in Lake Orion, MI. Established in 2019, our state-of-the-art facility offers a comfortable and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. We have 5 exam rooms, 1 isolation exam room, and a comfort room. Our services include ultrasound, TPLO, CT-Scan, endoscopy, general medicine, and surgery, utilizing entirely digital and up-to-date technology.

We are a client-centered, bond-focused practice dedicated to providing lifelong care for our patients. Strengthening the human-animal bond is at the heart of everything we do. Our team delivers thoughtful, individualized care backed by advanced diagnostics and a commitment to staying at the forefront of veterinary medicine—all with the support of the friendliest front desk team around. Our DVMs actively pursue continuing education and are eager to share their expertise with both clients and colleagues. We are passionate about mentoring and supporting those new to the field, fostering career longevity and personal fulfillment. Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team of three full-time DVMs. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality medical care and fostering strong client-pet bonds. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform comprehensive medical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  2. Conduct surgical procedures in our fully equipped surgical suite, which includes two operating tables and a wet table for dental procedures.
  3. Interpret diagnostic tests, including digital full-body and dental radiographs, ultrasound, and CT scans.
  4. Provide dental care services using our advanced dental equipment.
  5. Collaborate effectively with our team of technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.
  6. Engage in client education, addressing concerns, and providing guidance on pet health maintenance.

Qualifications:

  1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  2. Active and clear Michigan DVM license.
  3. All experience levels are welcome to apply; mentorship is available for new graduates.
