Emory Animal Hospital in Powell, TN, seeks an Associate Veterinarian for both part-time and full-time roles. The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, and excels as a team player, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and other small animals.

Qualifications

  • DVM degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in TN.
  • Current DEA license or ability to obtain one.
  • Experience in general practice with strong clinical aptitude.
  • Part-time employees work 2 full shifts per week.
  • Full-time employees work 4 full shifts per week.

Job description

Emory Animal Hospital is a well-established, comprehensive, small animal veterinary hospital located in Powell, TN. We treat dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and pocket pets. We currently have an opening for a part time or full time Associate Veterinarian. The ideal candidate is compassionate and has a caring manner towards both clients and pets, has a professional attitude and appearance, is a great team player even under pressure, working with staff to ensure high quality, patient-centered care with every visit. Bilingual veterinarians and veterinarians with exotic small animal experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of TN
  • Current DEA license or ability to obtain one
  • Prior experience working in general practice, with a strong clinical aptitude is required.
  • Part-time employees work (2) full shifts per week
  • Full-time employees work (4) full shifts per week
