This well-established small animal hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team. As a preferred provider of veterinary care in Eastern Idaho, the practice has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality medicine and exceptional client service. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animal patients while building strong relationships with clients and delivering individualized patient care. Responsibilities include wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, and client communication. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and continued professional development available. Flexible full-time and part-time scheduling options are offered, with no weekend, after-hours, or on-call responsibilities. The practice prioritizes quality patient care while supporting veterinarians with the resources and autonomy needed to practice confidently.

Practice Details
The hospital is a busy four-doctor small animal practice equipped with advanced technology to support high-quality medicine. Equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house diagnostics, and surgical lasers. The clinic provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental services within a modern and collaborative environment. The hospital operates Monday through Friday with appointments scheduled between 8:00am and 6:00pm, with the final appointment of the day at 5:30pm. Veterinarians also benefit from a dedicated two-hour midday break from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. The practice is committed to maintaining high clinical standards while fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture built on integrity, compassion, accountability, and teamwork.

Team
The hospital currently has a team of four veterinarians supported by a highly trained support staff, maintaining a 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio. Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
