Qualifications

  • Must hold a DVM or equivalent degree.
  • State Veterinary Board License in good standing required.
  • Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure is needed.

Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree
  • State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state of employment
  • Active DEA license or eligible for DEA licensure
About The Hospital
At Thrive Pet Healthcare, we have been serving our area since 2017 as a fully equipped general practice. We offer services including dental care, elective surgeries, and major surgeries such as cystotomies, pyometras, and foreign body removals. We also have dental and full-body X-ray capabilities. Our focus is on providing excellent client experiences and education.
Hours: Monday - Saturday 8 am - 6 pm
Our mission is to care for pets throughout their lives, foster strong human-animal bonds, and connect with our local community—supported by coast-to-coast resources. Thrive’s operational support, innovative technology, and advanced training enable you to focus on providing exceptional care. Our compensation model includes competitive base salaries with production bonuses and no negative accrual.

Our Medical Excellence and Education Department leads training and mentorship programs to support your professional journey, including RACE-accredited dental education, team and patient safety resources, and more.
Salary negotiable based on credentials and experience, with an annual full-time base salary range of $120k-$160k. The actual salary will consider your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
