Special Working Conditions

• Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods of time.
• Ability to be confident around animals (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.).
• Client needs and work volume may require more than 40 hours per week; may include weekends, evenings and/or holidays.
• Must have reading, writing and speaking English proficiency to perform duties.
• The noise level is moderately high; ear plugs available upon request.
• Ambulatory skills to perform required duties; able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity to operate equipment.
• Specific vision abilities required, including near, far, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Exposure to animals that may bite, kick or scratch; possible exposure to anesthesia, radiation, biological or zoonotic hazards and/or medication/controlled substances.
