Associate veterinarian at a long-established privately owned practice that encourages independence and autonomy

Location: Dunwoody, GA

Who We Are:

Dunwoody Animal Medical Center is an award-winning AAHA accredited small animal hospital with an excellent reputation. Our team is passionate about animal health and well-being, and we pride ourselves on encouraging independence and autonomy in a supportive work environment. For over 30 years, Dunwoody Animal Medical Center has been a cornerstone of our community as a premier small-animal hospital, offering unparalleled client service to pet owners and cutting-edge veterinary care to pets. We truly value our employees and want to invest in them and their success. Our clinic could not perform the services we do without our employees, and we show our appreciation with great pay, awesome benefits and a friendly, supportive work environment.

Who We’re Looking For:

Our team strives to provide a fun, positive, respectful hospital culture and we’re looking for someone with similar values. You received your Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution and have an active Georgia veterinary license. You have the experience, but you're looking for a place to grow and become the rockstar veterinarian you know you were meant to be. You think patients should be treated as an individual, not just a number. You know how to treat the animals, you’re just looking for the freedom to do so without worrying about production, restrictions and hand-holding. You enjoy surgical procedures (even if you need a little more support to grow your confidence). Most importantly, you have a commitment to practicing the highest standard of veterinary medicine.

Why You Should Choose Us:

  • State-of-the-art facilities, equipment and technology
  • Competitive guaranteed salary (no production or quotas to meet)
  • Four-day work week with occasional rotating Saturdays (only every 5 th Saturday)
  • Rotating Fridays off (for an occasional three-day work week!)
  • Healthy work-life balance without on-call or after-hours requirements
  • Health, dental, vision and life insurance
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Paid CE allowance & professional development opportunities
  • Positive wellbeing-focused culture that we’d love to tell you about
  • Seasoned leadership and support staff with low-turnover (many of our employees have been with us for over 20 years!)

How to Apply:

  • If you’re seeking an opportunity to work in a successful, well-run clinic with a positive and welcoming atmosphere, we’d love to hear from you! Please send your resume to our practice manager at office@dunwoodyamc.com.
