We practice out of a newly constructed (2021) 6800 square foot hospital with all of the necessary tools to offer gold standard care:

• 6 exam rooms
• Dedicated treatment room
• Digital radiography
• Double surgical suite
• Dental Suite with digital dental radiography
• In house laboratory
• Laser therapy
• Dedicated Feline/Canine/Exotics wards
• In-house pharmacy technician
• AI-Dictation software for exam documentation

Our team manages cases including:

• Dentistry
• Orthopedic Surgery
• Exotic animal medicine and surgery
• Rehabilitation
• Oncology/Chemotherapy
• Internal Medicine
• Cardiology
• Advanced Hospitalization
• End-of-life services

In addition, we have close working relationship with emergency facilities as well as specialist centers that are located within 5 miles of our location for our clients that prefer specialization.

Our positive, experienced support staff includes:

• Prosal with base pay between 135,000-150,000 based on experience.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian located in Downers Grove, IL. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing exceptional medical and surgical care to a variety of household pets. Day-to-day tasks include conducting examinations, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, performing surgeries, and overseeing the recovery and ongoing care of patients. The role also involves communicating with pet owners about the health and treatment of their pets, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure seamless clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting examinations, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans
• Skills in performing surgeries and overseeing the recovery and ongoing care of patients
• Strong communication skills for discussing health and treatment plans with pet owners
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to pet care
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a valid veterinary license in the state of Illinois
• Experience in veterinary medicine, particularly in a full-service animal hospital, is preferred
