About You

You’ll get to know the family and care for the pet year after year. From delivering reliable care, to preventative visits, to being the first one they call when something just feels wrong.

The Ideal Candidate would be willing and able to provide wellness and sick appointments and perform surgeries, diagnostics, and dental services.

Experience & Skills Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

About The Hospital

Yonkers Animal Hospital is a small animal general practice hospital in Yonkers, New York, providing veterinary care for canines and felines. We offer wellness and sick exams, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and more. When you think of “home,” you probably think of family, friendly people, and a clean place where you can rest and heal your wounds—a place where you like to be. We have a home like that for pets. We have a supportive family of caring staff to care for our clients and their pet’s medical needs and a clean hospital with all the equipment you expect to practice high-quality veterinary medicine.

We are open Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. We are also open every other Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $140,000/year. The salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
