Job summary

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners’ Companion Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our general practice team in New Hampshire. Enjoy practicing quality medicine with surgical and dentistry caseloads and a collaborative, client‑focused environment.

Qualifications

  • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited university (required).
  • Active or eligible veterinary license in New Hampshire.
  • Experience in small animal general medicine.
  • Independent surgical proficiency with routine soft tissue procedures.
  • Dentistry experience.
  • Strong communication and client‑education skills.
  • Experienced DVM; new graduates are not considered.

About Our Clinic

Companion Animal Hospital is an established general practice supported by a dedicated team and a wonderful community of loyal clientele. We’re looking for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys building lasting client relationships, practicing quality medicine, and having surgery and dentistry as part of their regular caseload.

Clinic Snapshot
  • Practice type: General Practice
  • Avg. daily patient volume: Approximately 14 appointments per doctor
  • Support staff ratio: 2:1 DVM-to-tech ratio
  • Case mix: Preventive care, general medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery, including spays, neuters, and mass removals
  • Schedule: Flexible 3–4 day work week with approximately 10-hour shifts
  • No urgent care, overnight, or on‑call hours
  • Team culture: Dedicated support staff, experienced veterinary leadership, and a strong community of clients
