We are seeking a Veterinarian to diagnose and treat animals at our clinic, which specializes in dogs, cats, and occasionally smaller animals. Your daily responsibilities will include performing surgeries, treating wounds, spaying and neutering animals, and prescribing medication. If you love animals and are committed to providing exceptional healthcare, we would like to meet you. You will serve as the primary contact for pet owners, addressing illnesses, injuries, and offering advice on nutrition and general care.

Responsibilities

1. Examine animals and assess their health
2. Diagnose illnesses and determine appropriate treatments
3. Dress wounds of injured animals
4. Perform dental, ophthalmic, and other surgeries
5. Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases
6. Spay and neuter cats and dogs as needed
7. Prescribe medications
8. Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare, and general care
9. Maintain and update client records

Skills

1. Experience with surgeries, vaccinations, and health checks on animals
2. Knowledge of medical equipment (e.g., X-ray machines) and anesthesia procedures
3. Problem-solving skills
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain medical terms simply
5. Patience and a love for animals
6. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
7. Interest or experience in surgery and internal medicine is a plus, but not required
