Job summary

VCA Cheshire is seeking a dedicated veterinarian to join a four-doctor practice with an experienced support team. The hospital features three full surgical suites, ultrasound capabilities by specialists, and a strong emphasis on fear-free care and mentorship for students and new graduates.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a schedule that supports work-life balance, with no on-call hours and a rotating Saturday half-day. Salary is negotiable based on experience and credentials.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain.
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

• Ultrasound capabilities by a board-certified internal medicine specialist 3 days a week as well as a board-certified cardiologist once a month.

Schedule

We are open 6 days/week, no on-call hours, and closed on major holidays and the schedule includes 4 days/week (Mon-Fri) with a rotating half day on Saturdays

Compensation

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Salary range listed is based on a 40 hour work week.

This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
