A growing veterinary practice in Charlottesville is seeking a motivated Associate Veterinarian. Oxford Animal Hospital is excited to add a positive and motivated Associate Veterinarian to our robust, steadily growing privately owned practice in the Villages, Florida. The hospital was established in 2019 and is surrounded by a bustling, rapidly growing community that we love to serve! We have a wonderful close-knit team that cares about our vision and are an integral par of the practice. Veterinary medicine has its own kind of challenges, and on days where things don't always go as planned, we support each other.
Our top priority is delivering the highest standard of care for our patients while fostering the human-animal bond. This is why we schedule 30-minute appointments to allow the focus and attention needed for each patient while also equipping our clients with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their loved one's care.
The ideal candidate has strong client relation skills that will support our values and our wonderfully compliant clients. WE are looking for strong communication skills to help lead and direct workflow alongside our experienced nursing team, to ensure time is utilized efficiently. Our brand new, modern practice is paper-lite, utilizing Pulse, and we offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care for our patients. This includes, preventative care, surgery, dentistry with digital radiographs, full body digital x-ray, therapeutic laser, in-house diagnostics, a reputable reference lab, handheld ultrasound as well as in-clinic ultrasound consultations by a board certified radiologist when needed.
We strongly advocate for a work-life balance and understand the importance of family time. To help support this, our practice is open Monday through Friday, with no weekend or on-call hours.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Proficient in general medicine and surgery
Full time/Part time
Current DEA license
Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
Active Veterinary State license
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work well in a team environment
