Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM) is required.
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

• DEA license is required.
• USDA Accreditation, or working towards completion, is required.

We take medicine seriously. Ourselves? A little less so.

Ridgeline Veterinary Clinic is a busy, independently owned small-animal practice in the Palm Springs area where we believe you can practice excellent medicine, have a great team behind you, laugh during the workday, and still have an life outside the hospital.

We aren't interested in assembly-line veterinary medicine. Our doctors are encouraged to work up cases, practice real medicine, develop their interests, and keep learning. You'll see everything from routine wellness appointments to interesting medical cases, dentistry, urgent care, and surgery—and you'll have an experienced team around you when a case gets complicated.

We also really like our toys. Our hospital is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, a dedicated surgical suite, cold laser, shockwave therapy, electronic medical records, and regenerative medicine options including PRP/stem cell therapy. If there's something new that genuinely helps us take better care of patients, we're usually interested.

Just as importantly, we take care of our people. We want our doctors and staff to enjoy coming to work, continue growing professionally, feel supported when medicine gets difficult, and know that their lives outside the clinic matter too. And when you've had enough desert?

Joshua Tree is practically in our backyard. The mountains are close enough for a spontaneous snow day. Beaches, Disneyland, San Diego and Los Angeles are all easy day trips.

You can spend Saturday morning hiking in the desert, Saturday afternoon in the mountains, and Sunday at the beach.
