Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5:30pm and Friday from 8am to 5pm, with no weekend opening. There are no after-hours or emergency responsibilities. This weekday-only schedule provides structure and predictability, supporting a healthy work life balance while maintaining excellent availability for clients.
Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will deliver comprehensive veterinary care across a diverse caseload, managing patients from routine wellness through diagnostics, treatment, and surgery. You will build trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and education, collaborate closely with colleagues and support staff, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture. The position is well suited to veterinarians at any stage of their career, offering either mentorship or peer-level support depending on experience.
Practice Details
The hospital provides care for small animals as well as exotics and pocket pets, creating a varied and engaging caseload. Services include wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, and emergency care tailored to each patient's needs. The recently updated, modern facility includes a dedicated surgery suite and is equipped with advanced technology such as digital dental radiography, ultrasound, echocardiogram capability, cold laser therapy, and stem cell therapy. The practice sees a high patient volume and is designed to support thorough, high-quality medicine in a well-equipped and efficient environment.
Team
You will be joining a friendly, collaborative veterinary team supported by experienced technicians and support staff. The hospital currently has two veterinarians and a stable team environment, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, mutual support, and long-term staff retention.
