Job summary

VCA Sheridan Animal Hospital in Buffalo, New York, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a skilled team delivering world-class veterinary care. You’ll be supported by advanced facilities and a collaborative culture designed to help you provide the best patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

• In addition to general practice, we have a Board Certified Surgeon, a VTS in anesthesia and analgesia, an overnight technician to care for hospitalized patients, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy/colonoscopy capabilities and dental equipment including dental radiography

Schedule

• Full-Time or Part-time available, Relief possible
• Hours of Operation: Mon: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
  Tue - Wed: 7:00 am - 8:00 pm, Thu - Fri: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
  Sat: 8:00 am - 1:30 pm

Compensation

• Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. The salary range for this position is $135K - $150K.
• Salary range listed is based on a 40 hour work week.
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
