Tired of 15-minute appointments, packed schedules and feeling like there’s never enough time to practice good medicine?
Atlas is excited to be representing a well-established, independently owned small animal hospital with deep roots in its local community. The practice has built a loyal client base and a long-standing team by putting continuity, good medicine and genuine relationships at the centre of how it operates. With appointments booked weeks ahead, the hospital is now looking to add another veterinarian to meet continued demand.
The practice offers a well-rounded small animal GP caseload, with a particularly strong surgical and dental component alongside wellness and preventative care. Surgery includes high-volume spay and neuter work, mass removals and other routine procedures, while dentistry accounts for a significant part of the caseload. The hospital is well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory capabilities, a full surgical suite and dedicated dental equipment.
The team is experienced and highly collaborative, with many support staff having been with the practice for years. Technicians are highly involved across surgery and appointments and are treated as an important part of the clinical team. The owners remain closely involved in the practice and have built an environment where veterinarians have independence in their clinical decisions while still having experienced colleagues around them to discuss cases and develop their skills.
The practice is looking for another full-time DVM who can contribute across appointments, surgery and dentistry, although there is flexibility for someone who prefers a more appointment-focused role.
